The Brand + The Designer
Mackenzie Maddison, quality swimwear designed and manufactured in Vancouver, BC. A label started by Mackenzie, a Fashion Marketing graduate explains;
“My journey started while attending Blanche Macdonald’s Global Fashion Marketing Program. During my time in school, I started a side hustle designing and with the help of my supportive mother manufacturing swimwear and posting my designs on various social media platforms.”
Post graduation, Mackenzie decided to create her first collection. She created a team consisting of a designer (herself), a local pattern maker and manufacturer. Soon after, Mackenzie wanted to take her career to the next level, with some help she created a website, hosted her first content shoot and developed her online store.
Mackenzie is dedicated to designing pieces for women to feel confident. Every collection, she authentically designs new pieces inspired by what she personally will want to wear in the coming summer months. She is focused on creating designs that will leave women feeling confident and empowered - changing the way women feel about swimwear.
Driven to grow and expand the brand, Mackenzie is dedicated to creating quality pieces focused on minimalistic, and complimentary designs for all women.
